Job Description

An experienced Communications and Content Manager is required to build and lead the organisation’s communications function from the ground up, shaping institutional voice and managing high-level stakeholder engagement.

Role Summary: develop strategic communications, produce institutional content, and manage communication with government bodies, donors, partners, and the public.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute communications strategy
* Write press releases, reports, briefing notes, and executive communications
* Manage stakeholder, government, and donor communications
* Support media relations and public positioning
* Ensure consistency across all communication channels
* Coordinate external vendors (designers, consultants, creatives)
* Support presentations and multimedia content production

Requirements
* 4–7 years experience in communications, public affairs, or related field
* Strong institutional writing and editing skills
* Experience working with government, NGOs, or corporate stakeholders
* Understanding of Nigeria’s public sector, healthcare, or development space
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
* Working knowledge of Canva or similar tools.

Nice to Have
* Experience in healthcare, development, or donor-funded organisations
* Media relations or public affairs exposure
* Multimedia content experience (video, podcasts, etc.)
